Our work helps people like Godfrey (in the picture) to learn to walk.

But we can't do it alone; we need your help, your support and your prayers.

What quality of life is this child likely to experience? He doesn't have much chance without your help

Please help him; give him a better chance..

Judy provides a hug of comfort to one of the people we care for.

Thinking, worrying, praying. Can you help? Willyou?

There is great joy in the achievements of those who are working to help themselves.

Read about Micro Loans and how they help; read about the Widow's club and how it helps women to recover from loss. Read about how we help people to achieve basic Literacy skills.

The flags of Australia and Uganda; they are symbols of our working together to help others.

The emblem of the Uniting Church in Australia shows the cross of Jesus Christ, in its light and love, standing over a darkened world - redeeming it through grace and truth. By that cross people are bound to Christ and each other.

The Holy Spirit, symbolised by the dove with the wings of flame, empowers and guides us to be witnesses to Jesus Christ.

(continued) The wide 'U' at the bottom points to the fact that we are uniting; as a semicircle it also reminds us that the renewing of both church and world are as yet incomplete.

The emblem symbolises something of the vision we have glimpsed and the hopes we hold for the future. In particular it reminds us: that the gospel message is central in all that we seek to do; of the need for constant reform and renewal; of our commitment to worship, witness and service.

The logo represents stylised praying hands (emphasising together we serve) that envelope the Christian cross and imply the Heart at the centre of their caring.
